My husband, Andres Mancinas-Cobo Beckhold began his life at this mission. He had polio so his mother took him there. My in-laws Mary & Dick Beckhold adopted him and brought him to the United States. Nearly 50 years later he is doing well and we are both very grateful for the existence of the mission!!
